Martin Luther King Day

Hello Students:

We have a day off from school on Monday to celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther King.  Today we will learn a little about his life

You will read an article in the class blog about Martin Luther King and answer questions in Google Classroom using information from the article.

When you have finished reading the article, click on this link to access an online quiz in your Google Classroom.  Raise your hand when you have completed the quiz so I can check your score.

If you finish your quiz before the rest of the class is done, click on this link to play a Martin Luther King word game.

Google Slides

Hello Students:

Today you are going to make a slide for a class slide presentation using the photos we took in iPhoto.  Here are the steps you’ll need to make your slide:

1)       In a new tab, open Google Chrome and sign into Google Classroom.

2)         Click on the square of dots in the upper right hand corner and then click on "Slides".

3)         Click on "Blank" presentation.

4)         For Theme click on "Simple Dark".

5)         Where it says "untitled presentation" name the slide presentation with your name.

6)         Copy and paste your photo into the slide presentation: Open a new tab to find your in Google Classroom. Open the photo, right click on it and select "copy".

7)         Right click and "paste" the photo into your slide presentation.

8)         Re-size your photo.  Always re-size from the corner.

10)     In the text box below your photo, write your name and one thing you like to do.

11)     When you are finished, share your slide with me by sending it to:

I will assemble all your slides into one presentation.  In the next class we will view the presentation and reflect on the steps you took to complete the project.
